GENERAL PURPOSE: Directly supervises the Sales and Service technicians in the field, establishing and implementing sales training to ensure maximum effectiveness. Prospects and solicits new business for both the commercial and residential sides of the organization, as business need dictates. Interacts with customers on a daily basis providing them information and recommendations about service, equipment and options available. Responsible for meeting company sales goals and financial objectives.
* Reviews estimator's and technician's sales performance; addresses sales performance related issues as needed; rides along and/or meets with technicians while they are on job sites to review their performance after the appointment; assists technicians with sales-related work assignments providing sales training or advice as needed on a daily basis.
* Reviews and recommends candidates for hire; follows company policies for interviewing, hiring, and training; recommends termination of staff as needed.
*Manages and resolves customer complaints involving any type of issue; obtains technician's account of the appointment whenever possible.
*Provides sales training to estimators and technicians.
*Acts as a backup for the Service Technicians.
*Will go out and do Door Estimates as needed.
*Works with Senior Management to set sales goals and ensure that all technicians maintain focus to meet and exceed goals.
*Experience in Sales coaching.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or GED; supplemented by FIVE (5) or more years' proven sales experience estimating, bidding, and closing deals directly with customers (Business to Customer experience); MUST have two or more years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services to include marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems Knowledge of scheduling, delegation, problem resolution, and supervisory techniques Skill in using Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, and Excel) Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems Skill in developing and delivering engaging and effective training programs Skill in selecting and using appropriate training/instructional methods and procedures when learning or teaching new things Ability to think analytically Ability to provide direction to staff in a clear and objective manner Ability to provide excellent customer service Ability to cooperate and solve problems in a team environment Ability to follow complex instructions and communicate effectively orally and in writing Ability to organize work for timely completion Ability to plan, organize, and execute the daily activities required to manage the sales activities of the company
