As a Remote LCSW, you will conduct individual therapy sessions through secure video conferencing platforms, ensuring accessibility and convenience for clients from the safety and comfort of their own homes. While the role primarily involves remote interaction, occasional in-person sessions may be necessary, allowing for a well-rounded approach to the therapeutic process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough assessments of clients’ psychological and social needs to inform treatment plans, ensuring that every intervention is tailored to individual circumstances.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions, employing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness strategies to promote client engagement and progress.
  • Advocate for clients’ needs, collaboratively setting tangible goals and objectives that facilitate their personal growth and empower them on their recovery journey.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using our electronic health records (EHR) system to track client progress and fulfill regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings and case consultations, sharing insights and collaboratively developing strategies to enhance holistic care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus will be on individuals who are engaged in detoxification programs and those navigating mental health challenges simultaneously. You will work with a diverse population, providing culturally competent care that respects and accommodates various backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences. Understanding the unique challenges faced by clients in recovery is essential to this role and ensures that you can foster trust and rapport quickly.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university.
  • Active and unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in California without any disciplinary actions.
  • Strong clinical social work experience, including proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and the development of comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective client engagement and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Comfortable utilizing technology for remote therapy and electronic record-keeping.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in detox centers or substance use recovery settings.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and their application in social work.
  • Knowledge of community resources to assist clients in accessing additional support services.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, our benefits package includes: comprehensive health insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid time off, and professional liability coverage.
