Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of working remotely while occasionally attending in-person sessions at our dedicated detox center. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions using secure video conferencing tools, ensuring clients receive timely support.
• Assess clients’ mental health needs through thorough evaluations, applying diagnostic criteria and developing personalized treatment plans informed by clinical evidence.
• Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to individual client goals, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, or solution-focused strategies.
• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to foster continuous improvement in mental well-being.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, engaging with psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists to ensure holistic treatment approaches.
• Assist clients in setting realistic and achievable personal goals, advocating for the resources and support necessary for their growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients entering the detox center, many of whom are navigating substance use challenges, anxiety, depression, or trauma-related issues. You will employ your skills to create a supportive environment that promotes healing and sustains positive mental health outcomes. By working closely with these individuals, your efforts will directly contribute to their recovery journeys and empower them to lead fulfilling lives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is essential for this role.
• Current and valid California State LCSW license with no disciplinary actions.
• Proven expertise in clinical social work practice, including demonstrated proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and individualized treatment planning.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain trusting relationships with diverse clientele.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and other technologies to facilitate remote therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience treating clients with substance use disorders or severe mental illness is highly desirable.
• Understanding of trauma-informed care principles and practices.
• Experience in a multi-disciplinary clinical setting or within detox or rehabilitation facilities.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 yearly, commensurate with experience.
