Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual comprehensive psychosocial assessments to gain insights into clients' strengths, challenges, and emotional needs.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy and counseling services tailored to individual, family, and group dynamics.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff to coordinate comprehensive care plans, ensuring holistic support for recovery.
  • Educate clients about their mental health conditions and advocate for their rights, connecting them to essential community resources.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes within our electronic health record (EHR) system to track development and efficacy of interventions.
  • Engage in regular team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress, share insights, and ensure a unified approach to care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary client focus will be individuals dealing with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. You will work with clients at varying stages of recovery, adjusting your therapeutic approach to meet each individual’s unique needs. Your ability to empathize and connect with diverse populations will be vital in building rapport and trust, empowering clients on their path to recovery.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services, demonstrating a well-rounded foundation in therapeutic practices.
  • Proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing effective treatment plans tailored to client needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, essential for effectively engaging with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • A strong commitment to cultural competence, social justice, and ethical clinical practice.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in addiction treatment or mental health facilities, particularly in detox or rehabilitation settings.
  • Familiarity with telehealth systems and practices to effectively adapt to remote service delivery.

  • Demonstrated expertise in crisis intervention and conflict resolution strategies.
