Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand client needs and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Utilize various therapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short-term therapy, to deliver therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and security of client information.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training, enabling you to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health care.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to foster a holistic approach to client care, actively participating in case discussions and team meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes individuals and families from diverse backgrounds experiencing a wide array of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use challenges. Many of our clients have limited access to mental health resources, making your role essential in bridging the gap and providing them with the support they need.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas is essential.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required, demonstrating a strong understanding of therapeutic interventions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A strong foundation in legal and ethical standards relevant to the practice of counseling.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and technology relevant to client management.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.
• Experience working with underserved populations is a plus, as we strive to provide equitable mental health care.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and availability of caseload.
