Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations, developing tailored treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique needs and goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, ensuring that our therapeutic approach aligns with best practices.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to provide holistic care and address all aspects of client well-being.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Stay engaged with ongoing professional development through workshops and seminars, integrating new research findings into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Your expertise in counseling will be pivotal in fostering trust and guiding clients through their healing journeys, recognizing each client's unique background and experiences.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted LPC licensure in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing direct counseling services in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations governing counseling practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other essential software for clinical documentation and billing.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in trauma-informed care, couples counseling, or substance use disorders.
• Experience in outpatient settings with a focus on individual and group therapy.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced virtual environment while maintaining high standards of care.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, dependent on your caseload and experience. Additional benefits include:
