Position Overview
We're on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging specialists committed to delivering outstanding patient care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will perform diagnostic procedures, work alongside a supportive group of clinicians, and provide peace of mind to patients through prompt and precise imaging.
Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during all procedures, explaining each step with empathy and clarity
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Skillfully operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting malfunctions
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records within our electronic medical system
• Stay updated on advances in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques along with patient positioning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
