Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Recovery Wellness Center, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients and their family dynamics to identify therapeutic needs.
  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions as well as couple and family therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices to address mental health issues.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic interventions to support emotional and relational healing.
  • Guide families through challenging situations, including conflicts, job stress, grief and loss, and adjustment to significant life changes.
  • Regularly evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, maintaining open communication with clients and addressing their evolving needs.
  • Coordinate care with other specialists as necessary to ensure a holistic approach to client well-being.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and contribute to the organization’s mission.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this position, you will work closely with a diverse client population that includes adults, adolescents, and families dealing with various issues such as:

  • Alcohol and substance abuse.
  • Physical and psychological abuse.
  • Grief and loss.
  • Family conflicts and communication difficulties.
  • Adjustment issues related to separation and divorce.
  • Challenges associated with blended families.

Your expertise as an LMFT will be pivotal in guiding families toward resolution and healing, ultimately contributing to their overall mental health and family cohesion.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.
  • An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build rapport with clients.
Preferred Experience

While we welcome candidates with varying levels of experience, those who have:

  • Experience in a community health clinic setting.
  • Prior work with couples and families across diverse backgrounds.
  • A familiarity with telemedicine practices will be highly regarded.
Compensation and Benefits

Our therapists benefit from a competitive salary with a yearly compensation range between $75,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
