In this role, you'll work directly with employees to promote injury prevention, support musculoskeletal health, and encourage safer workplace habits. Position Details:
- Title: Health and Injury Prevention Coach
- Location: Lima OH
- Schedule: 40 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
- Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
- Status: Full-Time
Ideal Backgrounds Include:
- Athletic Training
- Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology
- Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy
- Related fields in movement, rehabilitation, or wellness
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one coaching and education to employees on injury prevention strategies
- Support employees in managing movement-related concerns through stretching, strengthening, ergonomics, and safe workplace habits
- Participate in on-site safety efforts, including emergency response drills and routine safety checks (e.g., AEDs, safety kits)
- Empower employees to set goals, build healthy habits, and stay injury-free
Qualifications:
- First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively support a safe environment
- Experience in ergonomic training, wellness coaching, or injury prevention is a plus
