Job description

Position Summary:

The Technical Designer is competent in multiple conventional aspects of architectural practice with an emphasis on the technical implementation of the project design. Performs work requiring adaptation of standards and criteria to project requirements. Possess a diverse working knowledge of related disciplines to support interdisciplinary coordination. Responsible for production of Contract Documents with support and direction from Project Manager and other senior staff.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on Grocery retail and commercial projects. The position requires experience producing construction documents for permit in Revit, strong communication skills, and an ability to thrive in a team environment.

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program preferred.
  • Basic understanding of architectural design, site planning, design development and graphic presentation.
  • Basic knowledge construction document production and development.
  • Proficiency Revit (latest version), AutoCAD, and other graphic and business software and their application in developing and presenting design documents.
  • Basic oral and written English communication skills.
