Work Environment

This remote role allows for a flexible work schedule tailored to meet the needs of both the therapist and the patients. You will be part of a collaborative team, working closely with psychiatrists and fellow mental health professionals to deliver comprehensive care in a setting dedicated to outpatient services. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and tailor treatment plans accordingly.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies focused on trauma recovery and resilience-building for each client.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring evidence-based care delivery.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at processing trauma, enhancing coping strategies, and igniting the healing journey.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, contributing to patient safety and well-being.
• Educate patients and their families about the dynamics of trauma, effective coping mechanisms, and resources available for further support.
• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation in compliance with the legal and ethical standards inherent to mental health practice.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and case consultations to enhance integrated patient care.
• Continuously update knowledge of the latest research and developments in trauma therapy through professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist will primarily involve working with adults and adolescents experiencing trauma-related challenges. We focus on creating a trust-based, safe environment for patients to explore their emotions and develop coping strategies crucial to their healing process. Your expertise will not only assist in treating disorders like PTSD but also in guiding clients toward long-term resilience and mental wellness.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
• Proven ability to deliver trauma-informed care and a thorough understanding of trauma-related disorders.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a compassionate, nurturing approach toward clients.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and the technology associated with remote mental health services.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience working in mental health counseling, preferably with a focus on trauma.
• Experience employing evidence-based trauma therapies and a track record of fostering successful therapeutic relationships.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, enhancing the patient's treatment experience.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
