Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain an understanding of patients' trauma histories, ensuring the identification of appropriate treatment pathways.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on facilitating trauma recovery and building resilience, using evidence-based methodologies.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to guide patients as they process trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and foster healing.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a cohesive approach to integrated care that benefits the patient’s well-being.
  • Provide timely crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring a compassionate response to distress.
  • Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of all patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to the continuous improvement of our trauma-informed care practices.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance the quality of care provided.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be individuals affected by trauma, particularly those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By providing trauma-informed care, you will play a crucial role in their healing and recovery, helping clients reclaim their lives and embark on a path to resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting, with a specific focus on trauma and related disorders.
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building approaches, paired with proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
  • Ability to remain composed in high-stress situations and handle crisis interventions effectively.
  • Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technologies.
  • A willingness to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits
