Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth assessments of patients to evaluate physical conditions and functional abilities, including range of motion, strength, and mobility.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that align with each patient's rehabilitation goals and needs, adapting strategies based on ongoing assessments.
  • Implement hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as electrical stimulation or ultrasound.
  • Educate patients and their families about home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health.
  • Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, utilizing electronic health record systems to adjust treatment plans as needed based on observed outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure each patient receives comprehensive and coordinated care throughout their rehabilitation journey.
  • Stay abreast of developments in physical therapy practices, attending workshops and utilizing advanced methodologies to enhance patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient demographic at our rehabilitation center is diverse, encompassing individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and general musculoskeletal issues. Qualifications
  • A Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is essential.
  • Eligibility for a current Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience in physical therapy or a related field, demonstrating a robust understanding of patient care.
  • Strong clinical competency with the ability to assess and implement various therapeutic techniques effectively.

  • Advanced certifications or specialized training in modalities such as dry needling, therapeutic taping, or pediatric rehabilitation are desirable.
Compensation and Benefits
