We’re looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined Automotive Core Technician who knows automotive parts, is comfortable using tools, and enjoys staying active. You don’t have to be a master mechanic—if you have automotive knowledge, mechanical ability, and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you.  


What You'll Do as a Parts Puller/Auto Core Tech | Automotive

  •  automotive cores, air bags, and other designated parts from vehicles using hand and power tools.
  • Pull automotive parts from vehicles for customers through our Customer Part Pulling Program.
  • Inspect, clean, and perform basic maintenance on your tools and equipment.
  • Maintain wheelbarrows, hoists, golf carts, and other equipment used throughout the facility.
  • Keep retail stocked with batteries, tires, radios, jacks, and other automotive items.
  • Assist customers with locating and transporting larger automotive parts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, SOPs, and PPE requirements.
  • Meet individual and team productivity goals while demonstrating our values of Respect, Help, Learn & Grow.

What We're Looking for in a Parts Puller/Auto Core Tech | Automotive

  • Automotive parts knowledge and basic mechanical ability.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Automotive repair, maintenance, parts removal, or similar hands-on experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly.
  • Customer-service skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to safely work with limited supervision and follow established procedures.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in an industrial automotive environment in varying weather conditions.
  • Basic computer/mobile device skills.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to safely operate company yard vehicles as required by the position.
  • Ability to work the typical Wednesday–Sunday schedule, including occasional overtime and holidays.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
