Project Blue Financial Consulting

Position Overview

Project Blue Financial Consulting is seeking a professional, motivated Licensed Insurance Agent to join our internal sales team.

This role is focused on working with existing Project Blue clients and their employees to provide insurance education, enrollment support, financial service solutions, and one-on-one consultations. This is not a traditional cold-calling insurance role. The primary responsibility is to help serve businesses already connected to Project Blue by engaging their employees, explaining available options, and helping qualified individuals take the next step.

The ideal candidate must already hold an active insurance license and be comfortable speaking with employees one-on-one, presenting in group settings, and traveling for in-person enrollment meetings, lunch-and-learn events, and client engagement opportunities.

This is a strong fit for a licensed insurance professional who wants a structured opportunity with base pay, commission potential, client access, and the ability to make a meaningful impact with businesses, employees, and families.

What You’ll Do

As a Licensed Insurance Agent with Project Blue, your responsibilities may include:

  • Reaching out to existing Project Blue clients and their employees
  • Providing insurance and financial services education to employees
  • Conducting one-on-one insurance consultations with interested employees
  • Supporting employee enrollment opportunities for Project Blue client companies
  • Traveling to client locations for in-person enrollments, lunch-and-learn events, and benefit education meetings
  • Presenting insurance and financial service options in a clear, professional, and compliant manner
  • Helping employees understand available coverage options and next steps
  • Following up with employees after meetings, presentations, and enrollment events
  • Maintaining accurate notes, client activity, and follow-up records in the CRM
  • Working closely with Project Blue leadership and support teams to coordinate client engagement
  • Attending internal training, team meetings, and development sessions

Required Qualifications

  • Active life and health insurance license
  • Previous insurance sales or financial services experience
  • Professional, organized, and dependable
  • Comfortable speaking with employees, business owners, and decision-makers
  • Strong in both one-on-one conversations and group presentations
  • Willing and able to travel for in-person enrollment meetings and lunch-and-learn events
  • Able to follow a structured sales and enrollment process
  • Coachable, self-motivated, and consistent with follow-up
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, email, Zoom, and basic digital tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience conducting enrollment meetings or employee presentations
  • Experience working with small or mid-sized businesses
  • Employee benefits experience
  • Life insurance sales experience
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to represent the company professionally at client locations and events

Compensation

This role offers base pay plus commission, giving licensed agents a stable foundation while still creating opportunities to earn based on production, employee engagement, enrollments, and client impact.

Travel Requirement

Candidates should be comfortable traveling as needed and representing Project Blue in a professional manner at client worksites, offices, and business locations.
