Position Overview

Project Blue is seeking a motivated CPA to join our growing organization. This role is ideal for someone who wants exposure beyond traditional accounting and is interested in advanced tax strategy, government rebates and incentives, and sophisticated financial architecture for businesses and investors.

This position is highly collaborative. Rather than working inside a traditional accounting department, you will work alongside Project Blue’s strategic partners and advisory network to help identify, support, and facilitate opportunities for clients.

In addition to supporting tax incentive initiatives, this role will involve proactive outreach to Project Blue’s existing client base to help uncover potential opportunities for rebates, incentives, and strategic tax planning solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying qualifying government rebates and incentive opportunities for clients
• Work in conjunction with Project Blue’s strategic tax and advisory partners to help facilitate client services
• Contact existing clients to uncover potential opportunities related to incentives, rebates, and tax strategy
• Review financial documents, tax returns, payroll records, and operational data
• Support documentation gathering and organization for incentive-related claims
• Research federal and state incentive programs and tax-saving opportunities
• Help analyze business structures and operational models for potential tax efficiency opportunities
• Assist with client onboarding and information collection
• Maintain organized records, reports, and follow-up communications
• Participate in ongoing training related to advanced tax architecture and financial strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA license preferred

• Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn
• Proficiency in Excel and financial software preferred
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently
