Description: Job Opening: Traveling Driver – Rail Crew Transport
Drive Safely. See the Country. Support the Railroad.Looking for a driving role that takes you beyond the same roads every day? As a Contingency Driver (CD Driver), you’ll travel to locations across the U.S., safely transporting railroad crews and supporting critical rail operations. This is a great opportunity for drivers who take pride in safe, professional driving and want to see different parts of the country while getting paid.

Job Summary:

As a PTI  Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting railroad crew members wherever the railroad requests. Trip length and times vary depending on railroad customer needs. Safety is always our #1 priority and should be the main focus for our Van Drivers. 


What you’ll do:

  • Safely transport railroad crews to and from job sites
  • Travel nationwide based on operational needs
  • Follow all safety, DOT, and company policies at all times
  • Maintain professionalism while working independently and with railroad partners

Requirements:

Our ideal candidate must:

  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Have a minimum of 3 years driving experience (personal or work-related)
  • Must be able to pass a post offer drug screening, MVR, and homeland security background check
  • Prioritize safety and responsibility
  • Enjoy travel and seeing new parts of the country
