Job description

Maintenance Technician - Field Service
Our Maintenance Technicians contribute to the success of Productivity by keeping our customers' CNC machine tools running at peak operating levels. The customers we serve rely on the Productivity Service team to repair, inspect and troubleshoot their equipment.
  • $28 - $35/hour - plus incentives
  • Hourly position with just occasional overtime
  • Reasonable local travel, 2-3 nights/month on average

CNC Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
  • Install new CNC metalworking equipment at customer locations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment - electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and software
  • Identify & replace parts as necessary. Test & make adjustments
  • Read and review mechanical and electrical print diagrams and technical repair manuals

CNC Maintenance Technician Requirements
  • Previous industrial maintenance experience; troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Technical training or certificate in a related field, i.e., mechatronics, electro-mechanical, automation, robotics, industrial maintenance
  • Comfortable working alone and with peers
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Monday - Friday - Occasional overtime - Some overnight travel (2-3 nights/month on average)
