This role offers a fully remote work setting while maintaining the robust support structure common in a clinical environment. Our therapists are equipped with cutting-edge technology and resources that facilitate seamless communication, collaboration, and patient care. You will have access to professional development tools to foster your growth and enhance your therapeutic practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments and screenings that provide insight into patients' mental health needs, allowing for the formulation of appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.
  • Deliver personalized short-term counseling sessions, utilizing crisis intervention techniques for patients navigating various psychological challenges.
  • Facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops that promote psychoeducation, skill development, and chronic illness management to empower patients.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and community organizations, to ensure comprehensive care and resources for patients.
  • Participate in outreach efforts aimed at increasing mental health awareness, providing education to the community, and fostering positive health behaviors.
  • Maintain precise and confidential electronic health records that comply with ethical guidelines and legal requirements, ensuring clarity in patient care documentation.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and experience a spectrum of mental health issues. This includes individuals coping with anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship challenges, and more. Understanding the unique needs of hospital patients is essential—day-to-day interactions may involve crisis intervention in acute scenarios, requiring an empathetic and adaptive approach to therapy.

Qualifications
  • Possession of an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field; a master's or doctoral degree is preferred.
  • Strong comprehension of the mental health challenges typical of a clinical setting, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written, designed to engage and build a rapport with patients from varied backgrounds.
  • Evidence-based practice knowledge, along with experience in brief therapy models suitable for an intensive counseling environment.
  • Proficiency in managing an active caseload while remaining organized and prioritizing patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous work experience in a mental health care setting or community health clinic is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing innovative therapeutic techniques that produce positive patient outcomes.
  • Experience in facilitating support groups or workshops focused on mental health education and personal development.
Compensation and Benefits
  • A competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, a retirement savings plan, and paid time off, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
  • Access to continuous professional development resources and opportunities for continuing education to enhance your clinical skills.
  • A collaborative and nurturing work environment with a network of dedicated professionals committed to excellence in patient care.
  • Opportunities to engage in research and publishing efforts within the field of mental health, contributing to the broader community’s understanding of best practices.
