Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team at ProMedication Counseling Center, providing remote, full-time outpatient services to a diverse community in Bellevue, Washington. This is a remote position, allowing therapists the flexibility to support our patients from their home offices while adhering to the standards of an outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that holistically evaluate the mental and physical health of patients, identifying how medical conditions impact mental health.
• Design and implement integrated treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, focusing on both psychiatric care and the management of co-occurring medical conditions.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), to promote healing and personal growth.
• Work closely with medical teammates, sharing insights and coordinating care to improve treatment outcomes for patients with complex needs.
• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and guidance are accessible to those in distress.
• Educate patients on the interrelationship between mental health and physical health, empowering them to manage their conditions effectively.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring data integrity within our electronic health record system.
• Actively participate in team meetings, case discussions, and interdisciplinary planning to enhance collaborative care approaches.
• Stay informed on the latest research, best practices, and advancements in integrated care to deliver the highest quality of service.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population includes individuals grappling with a range of mental health challenges, many of whom also face medical issues such as chronic illnesses. The therapist’s role is crucial in recognizing and addressing how these intertwined conditions affect the overall health and functioning of our patients.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current and valid license as an LMHC, LICSW, Psychologist, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
• Proven experience working with patients who have co-occurring medical and mental health conditions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities, fostering strong relationships with patients and colleagues.
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical guidelines, emphasizing patient confidentiality.
• Proficiency in the use of various computer applications and electronic health record systems.
• Strong teamwork abilities, willing to collaborate effectively with various professionals across disciplines.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an integrated care setting is highly desirable, particularly in approaches that involve collaboration with medical providers.
• Experience facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions rooted in established therapeutic frameworks.
• Familiarity with current trends and regulations in mental health care, particularly applicable to outpatient therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
