Our team comprises skilled physical therapists and licensed physical therapy assistants, all committed to delivering the highest standard of care in a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.

Work Environment

This full-time position requires working onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, where modern treatment modalities and a focus on patient engagement coexist. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing our team to maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing critical support to our patients during their recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify each patient’s unique needs and establish effective treatment objectives in alignment with healthcare standards and best practices.

• Effectively manage a patient caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring personalized and focused care throughout each session.

• Design and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing diverse therapeutic techniques to optimize movement and functionality.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide cost-effective treatment options that aim to reduce reliance on medications and unnecessary surgical interventions.

• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and ensure clear communication of findings and approaches with patients and other healthcare team members.

• Maintain accurate documentation of all patient care activities and therapeutic services rendered, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Engage in regular collaborative discussions with fellow healthcare professionals to enhance the patient care experience and outcomes.

• Motivate and guide patients through their rehabilitation journey, establishing fitness and wellness programs tailored to their specific needs.

• Promote a healthy lifestyle by improving patient strength, flexibility, coordination, and overall physical performance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus at ProMedication Counseling Center is on patients with a wide range of orthopedic issues and functional mobility challenges. These patients depend on our expertise in outpatient physical therapy to navigate their recovery, and we pride ourselves on individualizing each treatment plan to their circumstances. You will engage with a diverse clientele who come with various backgrounds and treatment needs, allowing for a fulfilling and impactful experience.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York State.
• Clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions against your license.
• Solid foundation in manual therapy techniques recognized as beneficial for patient mobility.
• Ability to develop and conduct effective exercise regimens tailored to individual needs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to ensure streamlined documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to implement physical therapy interventions that lead to observable improvement in patient outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
