Work Environment

This position is situated within an onsite home care setting, where you will engage directly with patients in their own living environments. Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily caters to a variety of patient populations in need of rehabilitative services within their homes. This includes post-operative patients, individuals recovering from injuries, elderly patients needing mobility support, and those with chronic conditions that affect physical function. Our therapists work closely with these individuals to devise personalized care strategies that enhance their quality of life and facilitate improved health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• A current and valid physical therapy license in the state of Texas.
• A valid CPR certification is required at the time of hire.
• Ability to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all patient interactions.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must exhibit the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of patient care.

Preferred Experience

• While no prior job experience is mandatory, applicants with a background in diverse therapeutic settings will find their skills advantageous.
• An understanding of current best practices in physical therapy and patient-centered care approaches is preferred.
• Skills in handling patient care documentation systems and electronic health records are beneficial.
