We leverage innovative techniques and approaches in physical therapy, continually striving to enhance the quality of care we provide. We prioritize patient-centered care, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for both our employees and the diverse patient population we serve.
Work EnvironmentThis role is primarily onsite, meaning you will provide care directly in the homes of patients across Salem, Oregon. This setting allows for a tailored approach to therapy where you can assess the patient's environment and make direct adjustments to their care plan based on real-world observations. Our team fosters a cooperative spirit while navigating the complexities of home care, and you will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and resources designed for portable services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough musculoskeletal evaluations to assess strength, range of motion, and functional limitations of patients during home visits.
- Design and implement personalized treatment plans reflective of each patient's unique recovery journey, taking into account their home environment and capabilities.
- Utilize various advanced manual therapy techniques, including but not limited to joint mobilization, soft tissue manipulation, and myofascial release, to enhance patient outcomes.
- Administer therapeutic exercises and neuromuscular re-education strategies that help promote mobility and decrease the risk of re-injury.
- Focus on post-surgical rehabilitation for patients who have undergone orthopedic procedures such as joint replacements and ligament repairs.
- Incorporate therapeutic modalities, including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and dry needling, as part of your evidence-based clinical interventions.
- Educate patients about injury prevention techniques, biomechanics, and tailored home exercise regimens to support their ongoing recovery outside of therapy sessions.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and athletic trainers, to develop coordinated care plans that maximize recovery success.
- Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes per clinic policies and state regulations.
You will engage with a diverse patient demographic that includes individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports-related injuries, and those managing chronic pain conditions. Our patients rely on our expertise to guide them through their rehabilitation in the comfort of their homes, ensuring they feel supported and empowered throughout their journey.
Qualifications- A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- A current Oregon PT license in good standing.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation settings is preferred.
- Proficient skillset in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise programming, and functional movement assessments.
- Experience with post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation protocols.
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach to therapy.
- A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex cases in home care settings.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) software for documenting and tracking patient progress.
- Ongoing participation in continuing education focused on advancements in orthopedic care.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, with opportunities for performance-based incentives.
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
- Generous paid time off (PTO) policy along with paid holidays.
- 401(k) retirement plan featuring employer matching contributions.
- Malpractice insurance coverage to ensure peace of mind.
- Financial support for continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.
