Job description

As a Full Time Licensed Clinical Behavioral Health Professional, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Alpharetta, GA. The scheduled hours are Monday - Friday, 8A-4:30P. This high-volume site offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through primarily 1:1 clinical therapy, while still contributing to wellbeing and programmatic initiatives.
What You'll Do
  • Use a strengths-based approach to support patient well-being.
  • Provide psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, groups, couples, or families.
  • Help patients gain insight, set goals, and plan actions for personal and social development.
  • Identify and diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues using assessments and records.
  • Apply evidence-based interventions within scope of practice, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Written Exposure Therapy, and CAMS.
  • Counsel patients on stress, substance abuse, and family issues to modify or improve behavior.
  • Collaborate with patients on treatment goals and outcomes.
  • Participate in clinical care team activities, including consultation, case management, care coordination, and referrals.
  • Enters data into patient's chart to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring
  • Master's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or equivalent field of study.
  • Licensed mental health clinicians including: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
  • LMSW needs to be a LCSW ('C' for clinical).
  • For NY ONLY, any LMHC applicant needs to have a 'D' after for diagnosing (LMHC - D vs LMHC).
  • Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS - care) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
  • 4+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Must have prior counseling experience in the field of treatment of behavioral mental health including depression, mood disorders, alcoholism and drug dependency, family counseling, marital relationship, grief, loss, etc..
  • Experience in crisis management, abuse reporting, and cultural competence to meet the diverse needs of the population served in a treatment setting.
  • Experience identifying, preventing, and treating of suicidal behaviors.
  • Experience with patient referral management and knowledge of available referral resources.
  • Previous clinical experiences in integrated behavioral health settings are preferred.
