Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support the F135 Fan Rotors Integrated Project Team (IPT) within the Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) organization, responsible for design, production, and sustainment task execution on the Fan Module.

What You Will Do:

  • Support the Integrated Product Team (IPT) to meet task and technical requirements and budget for all hardware and tasks.
  • Prepare/present status and technical content to IPT Lead, CIPT (Component Integrated Product Team), and upper Pratt & Whitney management.
  • Work closely with the Integrated Product Team and authorities on hardware field investigations to drive root cause and recommend product improvements.
  • Evaluate product improvement opportunities and initiate process changes or support ESTO (Engineering Support to Operations) for Class II Engineering Changes.
  • Support the IPT in performing risk assessments and developing mitigation plans.
  • Travel up to 10% (Domestic and International).

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • A Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering and 5 years of engineering experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and 3 years of engineering experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • A Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or an MBA.
  • Experience working in the Aerospace Industry and jet engines.
  • Previous gas turbine compressor experience.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office, Teamcenter, SAP, MS Project, or other scheduling software.

Compression Systems Engineering (CSE): CSE is responsible for the design, development, and in service support of all fans low-pressure and high-pressure compressors for commercial and military engine models. CSE is responsible for the identification and maturation of new technologies for these products. Technical disciplines in CSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, and Product Definition.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
