About the Organization

Positive Harmony Pathways Counseling is a community health clinic located in Reading, Pennsylvania, recognized for its commitment to delivering high-quality mental health services. We specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of various mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related issues. Our specialized approach combines evidence-based therapies with personalized care, aiming to create a welcoming environment for our clients.

This position is entirely remote, enabling you to provide counseling services from the comfort of your own space, while still being part of a supportive and collaborative team. Our clinic utilizes advanced digital tools for therapy sessions and communication, ensuring seamless interactions with clients and the treatment team. Flexibility in scheduling accommodates both client needs and work-life balance, including some evening and weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments using structured interviews and standardized tools to identify clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and available resources.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy leveraging a variety of evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused approaches.
  • Create and implement personalized treatment plans that set clear goals and measurable interventions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated care and optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Lead therapeutic group sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups, fostering a sense of community and shared growth among clients.
  • Document all client interactions and treatment progress meticulously and within required timelines to adhere to ethical and legal standards.
  • Provide crisis intervention, conduct risk assessments, and develop safety plans to support clients in moments of acute distress.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Positive Harmony Pathways Counseling, we serve a diverse clientele from various cultural, socioeconomic, and demographic backgrounds. Our clients include children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing a spectrum of mental health challenges. The role of the LMFT is to understand and respect the unique experiences of each client while providing tailored, compassionate care that aligns with our mission of promoting mental wellness and personal growth.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Strong competency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and treatment planning.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills.
Preferred Experience

While two years of relevant experience in a mental health or outpatient setting is preferred, we also welcome applicants with significant experience in related fields such as social work or psychology. Familiarity with teletherapy and digital tools for remote counseling will further enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, supplemented by performance-based bonuses. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
