Job Summary

Home Factors is Porch Group Media's proprietary property condition scoring and risk analytics platform. It delivers a fundamentally differentiated view of individual property risk by combining proprietary home-attribute data, real-time property condition signals, and advanced scoring models that go well beyond traditional peril or claims-history data. The product is reshaping how reinsurers assess portfolio risk selection and treaty pricing adequacy, how MGAs build defensible underwriting programs for their capacity partners, and how insurance platforms and data marketplaces embed differentiated risk data into the products they distribute, and we need someone who can sell that transformation, not just a data feed.

This is a senior hunter role with deep consultative requirements, spanning two related but distinct motions: direct sales into agencies, reinsurers, and MGAs, and channel/partnership development with insurance platforms and data marketplaces that would embed or redistribute Home Factors. You will own the full lifecycle of complex, multi-stakeholder engagements, from initial prospecting through technical evaluation, partnership structuring, and executive-level commercial negotiation. Sales and partnership cycles are typically 6+ months and involve agency principals and brokerage leadership, reinsurance underwriting and portfolio management leadership, MGA underwriting and program leadership, platform business development and product teams, data science, integration engineering, and C-suite decision-makers. Home Factors is a new category of data in the market, and you will help define how agencies, reinsurers, MGAs, and platforms evaluate and buy or embed property condition data, educate senior stakeholders who may not yet know the category exists, and architect deal structures that align with how insurance data is actually consumed and monetized.

What You Will Do As A Solutions Sales Executive:

• Pipeline & Partnership Development

• Build and manage a full-cycle pipeline spanning retail and wholesale insurance agencies, reinsurers, program administrators and MGAs, and insurance platforms and data marketplaces, from strategic prospecting and cold outreach through multi-quarter evaluation cycles to signed subscription or partnership agreements.

• Own an aggressive new-logo and new-partnership quota across direct and partnership channels, maintaining 3-4x pipeline coverage and delivering accurate, stage-weighted forecasts across long, complex cycles ranging from mid-five-figure licensing agreements to seven-figure annual subscriptions and revenue-share deals.

• Independently maintain a territory and partnership plan that segments target accounts by agency size and specialty, reinsurer tier, MGA vertical and growth stage, and platform type, developing account-level strategies that map the buying or partnership committee and sequence engagement across stakeholders.

• Maintain CRM data with stage-appropriate detail, including buying-committee or partnership-committee mapping and integration timelines, and report honestly and precisely on deal and partnership health, risk factors, and close timing.

• Solution Design & Deal Execution

• Partner with analytics, data science, and product teams to architect use cases specific to each channel, including property risk advisory and submission differentiation for agencies, reinsurance portfolio risk selection and treaty pricing support for reinsurers, underwriting segmentation and program risk selection for MGAs, and embedded scoring or data-licensing integrations for platforms.

• Translate raw analytical output into a business case that resonates with agency, actuarial, underwriting, product, and executive stakeholders simultaneously.

• Lead engagements that require coordinating across distinct buyer personas depending on account type, including agency principals and producers, reinsurer underwriting and cat-modeling leaders, MGA program managers and capacity providers, and platform business development, product, and integration engineering leaders, managing competing priorities and evaluation criteria to drive consensus and close.

• Design and deliver executive-level pitch materials, technical deep-dive presentations, ROI models, and pricing or partnership proposals, and lead commercial negotiations involving custom data delivery formats, API integration terms, embedded distribution and revenue-share agreements, multi-year ramp structures, exclusivity provisions, and co-development commitments.

• Market Presence & Thought Leadership

• Represent Home Factors at agency, reinsurance, MGA, and insurtech industry conferences and partnership forums, presenting to agency, underwriting, actuarial, product, and C-suite leadership as a credible, technically informed voice on property risk data innovation and embedded data partnerships.

What You Will Bring As A Solutions Sales Executive:

• 7+ years of progressive experience in complex, consultative B2B sales, including at least 4 years selling data, analytics, or decision-science solutions directly into insurance agencies, reinsurers, MGAs, or insurance/insurtech platforms.

• Strong preference for experience selling into agency or brokerage leadership, reinsurance underwriting or portfolio management, MGA underwriting or program management, or structuring embedded data/technology partnerships.

• Comfortable holding a substantive conversation with a reinsurance Chief Underwriting Officer, an MGA program leader, an agency principal, or a platform's Head of Product about loss ratios, combined ratios, portfolio risk selection, treaty pricing, submission quality, and GLM/GBM modeling approaches, with enough analytical fluency to co-design a proof of concept and defend the methodology to a skeptical buyer or partner.

• An active network of senior relationships across insurance agencies, reinsurers, MGAs, and insurance platform or data-partnership leaders, with the ability to get a meeting with a decision-maker rather than a gatekeeper.

• A demonstrable track record of exceeding quota in enterprise sales or partnership environments with 6+ month cycles, multiple decision-makers, technical evaluations, and six- to seven-figure contract or partnership values, including experience navigating procurement, legal, and integration/security reviews.

• Self-directed and resourceful, comfortable operating in an early-stage, high-growth environment where the go-to-market and partnership motion is still being built.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to flex between a technical data validation conversation with an actuarial or product team and a strategic business case for a C-suite sponsor or partnership executive with equal ease.

• Working knowledge of data integration patterns common in insurance and insurtech (API, SFTP, cloud data exchanges), familiarity with how reinsurers and MGAs consume third-party data features in predictive models, and how platforms embed or redistribute third-party data, sufficient to lead a technical scoping conversation without engineering support in the room.

• Partnership and channel experience is a plus: prior experience structuring embedded distribution, revenue-share, or data-licensing partnerships with insurtech platforms, data marketplaces, or broker/reinsurance platforms.

How We Will Measure Success:

• Consistent quarter-over-quarter growth in new-logo and new-partnership bookings against an assigned quota, with clear progression toward annual plan attainment.

• A healthy, self-sourced pipeline with 3-4x coverage, realistic stage-weighted values, and well-qualified opportunities across agencies, reinsurers, MGAs, and platforms that reflect genuine buyer or partner engagement.

• Deals and partnerships that close on the strength of a tailored, analytically validated value case, demonstrated through proof-of-concept results and quantified lift metrics, not discounting or relationship selling alone.

• Growing strategic footprint within the agency, reinsurance, MGA, and insurance-platform market, with expanding senior-level relationships, referenceable accounts and partners, and a measurable contribution to Home Factors' market positioning as the category-defining property condition data provider.

• Successful conversion of proof-of-concept engagements into multi-year enterprise subscriptions and embedded platform partnerships, with increasing average contract or partnership value over time.

What You Will Get As A Porch Group Team Member

Pay Range*: $116,300 - $162,800 Annually

*Please know your actual pay at Porch will reflect a number of factors among which are your work experience and skillsets, job-related knowledge, alignment with market and our Porch employees, as well as your geographic location.

You will be eligible to receive long-term incentive awards, subject to program guidelines and approvals.
