The Opportunity

Planview is seeking a Senior Product Manager in Vancouver, BC to build the AI-ready, cross-capability data fabric that sources insights across the full Planview. This data fabric will power the insights and analysis that Planview Anvi, our AI product, delivers to customers. In addition the data fabric will underpin customer facing data catalogs in addition to MCP offerings. This role focuses on partnering directly with customers to validate the use cases the data fabric must deliver, and translating that customer and market insight into a mix of capabilities, functionality, and technology across multiple development teams and products. The ideal candidate combines a customer-centric mindset, strong product validation instincts, and platform/software knowledge.


As a Senior Product Manager, you will engage directly with customers, prospects, and internal
stakeholders to validate the data and use cases that power Planview Anvi's insights and
analysis. You will define how data is sourced, structured, and governed across the full Planview
platform in service of providing deep intelligence, insights and . You will identify solutions to
intricate, frequently technical challenges that transcend multiple products and domains,
grounding every decision in customer evidence. You will combine strategic and design thinking
with creative problem-solving to formulate effective solutions, balancing user empathy, technical acumen, and business strategy to guide the platform's success.


What You'll Do
  • Developing and owning a multi-year strategic roadmap for the cross-product data fabric
    that powers Planview Anvi, informed directly by ongoing customer discovery and
    validation.
  • Identifying and validating the key use cases that surface through Planview Anvi, working
    backward from customer needs to the data and capabilities required to support them.
  • Engaging customers and prospects through interviews, demos, and beta programs to
    validate product direction and prioritize platform investments.
  • Translating customer needs and market signals into a clear, compelling articulation of
    platform value for both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborating across product management, development, and user experience to
    identify and define solutions.
  • Leading cross-functional teams across the Planview product portfolio and field
    organizations

What You'll Bring
  • Experience: 5 years in a customer-facing enterprise software product management role.
  • Customer-Centric Focus: Track record of engaging directly with customers to validate
    product direction, gather evidence, and clearly articulate the business value of platform
    concepts and capabilities.
  • Product Validation: Skilled in structuring and running discovery, validation, and beta
    feedback loops that turn customer input into prioritized roadmap decisions for data-
    driven use cases.
  • Platform Mindset: Leads and influences data sourcing, ontology, and platform direction
    across a multi-product portfolio for customer value, scalability, and resilience.
  • Communication & Influence: Able to translate technical platform concepts into
    customer-facing value narratives for executives, customers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership: Influences teams without authority, facilitates discovery and alignment
    across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Agility: Works in dynamic, fast-paced environments with Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with generative and predictive AI pipelines and processing, with conceptual
    understanding on how they power AI-driven insights and analysis.
  • Has experience working with data engineering teams, building solutions for enterprise
    customers and stakeholders at scale.
  • Familiarity with the domains of Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Project Portfolio
    Management (PPM) and Enterprise Agile Planning and Delivery.
  • Strong analytical & organizational skills to identify trends in data architectures and
    downstream analytics, including systems thinking and the ability to understand complex
    dependencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead & execute cross-functional initiatives that align with strategic
    goals.
  • Familiarity with one or more of project portfolio management, financial management, or
    resource management.
