Job description

The Senior Pricing Manager is the organizational owner of Pricing for the brand. This role is responsible for building the pricing strategy from the ground up, defining frameworks, processes, tools, and governance that maximize revenue, margin, competitiveness, and customer value perception across all markets (enterprise, regional, and country-level).

This is a high‑visibility, high‑impact individual contributor role that combines strategic leadership with tactical execution, requiring someone comfortable designing long-term pricing strategy while also rolling up their sleeves to implement, maintain, analyze, and iterate pricing decisions in real time.

You will partner closely with Senior Leadership, Merchandising/Product, Finance, Strategy, and Operations to build and maintain a pricing system that is data‑driven, competitive, and aligned with brand, margin, and growth objectives.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Build and own the companywide Pricing strategy across regions
  • Develop pricing frameworks and governance models
  • Set up value‑based pricing methodologies and competitive benchmarking models
  • Lead pricing guardrails, rules, and approval workflows
  • Partner with Leadership to identify pricing opportunities that increase revenue, margin, and competitiveness
  • Manage and measure customer price perception
Pricing Process Design & Systems (Strategic + Operational)
  • Lead the design and deployment of AI/automation-enabled pricing infrastructure to scale decision‑making, reduce cycle time, and eliminate manual workflows
  • Implement tools, dashboards, and analytical models
  • Own cross‑functional pricing communication
Analytics, Insights & Optimization (Hands‑on + Strategic)
  • Conduct competitive analyses, market scans, and cost/margin analyses
  • Develop and maintain dynamic pricing models incorporating elasticity, competitive signals, and AI‑generated demand forecasts
  • Provide insights on customer sensitivity and competitive dynamics
Execution & Implementation (Hands‑on)
  • Own governance and approval of price changes across systems; partner with operations to execute with accuracy and speed
  • Resolve operational pricing escalations
  • Maintain documentation of pricing workflows
Cross‑functional Leadership (Individual Contributor)
  • Serve as the pricing subject‑matter expert
  • Partner with Finance, Product/PD, Ops, Marketing, and Digital
  • Lead evaluation, selection, and procurement of pricing tools and vendor partnerships; own the pricing tech stack roadmap
Qualifications:
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or related field.
  • • 7-10 years of experience in Pricing, Strategy, FP&A, or Analytics.
  • • Demonstrated track record of building or rebuilding a pricing function from the ground up required.
  • • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • • Proficiency in leveraging AI and automation tools (e.g., Python, ML‑based pricing engines, LLM‑assisted analysis) to surface insights, drive pricing decisions, and reduce manual workflows. Experience with BI platforms (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) required; comfort working in data environments without relying on spreadsheet‑first approaches.
  • • Experience with SAP or similar systems a plus.
  • • Experience with price optimization software (Pros, Zilliant, or similar) a strong plus.
  • • Demonstrated ability to build scalable pricing infrastructure, not just ad hoc models.
  • • Strong P&L literacy; fluency in gross margin analysis and revenue modeling.
  • • Proven ability to lead change management and influence cross‑functional stakeholders without direct authority.
  • • MBA or advanced degree preferred (not required).
  • • Strong balance of strategic and tactical capabilities.
  • • Excellent communication skills for leadership audiences.
