The Physical Therapist role at PhysioSpace is an onsite position where you will work in a collaborative rehabilitation facility. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, mobility, and strength to tailor individual treatment regimens.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans that focus on enhancing mobility, preventing falls, and improving daily functioning.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and the use of assistive devices to maximize patient outcomes.
• Introduce pain management strategies and educate patients on self-management techniques to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, documenting changes and modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Provide education to patients and their families about rehabilitation goals, therapeutic exercises, and at-home care techniques.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses and physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care and optimize patient recovery pathways.
• Ensure that all clinical documentation adheres to healthcare regulations and best practices, maintaining accuracy and privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Active and valid Physical Therapy license in Virginia.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher (Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred) from an accredited program in Physical Therapy.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably within an assisted living, skilled nursing, or geriatric care setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of age-related conditions and appropriate therapeutic techniques to address the unique needs of older adults.

Compensation and Benefits

The Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, complemented by a robust benefits package that includes:
