    Coastal Orthopedics is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) to join our growing orthopedic practice. This position plays a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.     Position Summary
    The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations, maintaining imaging equipment, and providing excellent patient care while supporting physicians and clinical staff.
    Essential Responsibilities
    • Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
    • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort.
    • Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
    • Follow radiation safety standards and maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
    • Maintain and operate radiographic equipment, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
    • Upload and document imaging studies accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR).
    • Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient care.
    • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
    • Assist with additional clinical duties as needed.
    Qualifications
    • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
    • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
    • Current Georgia state radiologic license (or eligibility) required.
    • Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.
    • Previous orthopedic or outpatient imaging experience preferred but not required.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Job Specifications (Education/Licensure/Certifications): High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required, higher education in health care preferred, active Florida RT or BMO license.
    Job Experience: 1-3 years of recent experience working in a medical facility as a BMO or RT required.
