Physi Core Solutions is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our esteemed rehabilitation center located in Gainesville, Florida. In this full-time, onsite role, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, providing exceptional patient care and implementing individualized treatment plans that aim to enhance recovery, improve mobility, and elevate the overall quality of life for our patients.

Work Environment

The rehabilitation center provides a welcoming and collaborative environment, encouraging effective communication among healthcare professionals. We operate Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a focus on flexibility to accommodate the unique needs of our patients and clinic operations. This team-oriented setting promotes continuous learning and shared best practices among our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient, focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, and functional capabilities.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities designed to alleviate pain, improve physical health, and support recovery.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics, effective exercise techniques, and personalized home exercise programs to aid their rehabilitation journey.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy in accordance with the established treatment protocols.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and overall functional ability.
• Prepare treatment areas, ensuring that equipment and supplies are organized and readily accessible for effective therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including Occupational and Speech-Language Therapists, to coordinate optimal patient care.
• Provide emotional support and motivation to patients throughout their rehabilitation process, fostering an encouraging therapeutic environment.
• Adhere to ethical practices and maintain patient confidentiality, respecting individual rights and privacy at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation clinic caters to a wide range of clientele, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, geriatric-related ailments, pediatrics, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation needs. Our comprehensive approach ensures that each patient receives tailored care that aligns with their specific rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in developing treatment plans and delivering physical therapy services.

Compensation and Benefits
