Work Environment

The work setting is primarily in patients' homes, allowing for personal, one-on-one interactions that significantly enhance therapy outcomes. As a Physical Therapist at Physi Core Solutions, you will find yourself in a supportive team-oriented atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each patient, prioritizing their mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Guide patients through a series of therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities, utilizing advanced techniques to promote physical well-being and alleviate discomfort.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, and exercise techniques, ensuring they possess the tools necessary for effective recovery.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under your supervision to augment rehabilitation efforts.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking vital metrics such as range of motion, strength gains, and functional improvements to measure therapy outcomes.
• Maintain treatment areas and ensure that all required tools, equipment, and supplies are organized and available for effective therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists to optimize patient care and facilitate comprehensive rehabilitation.
• Provide emotional support to patients throughout their rehabilitation journeys, fostering a positive and motivating environment conducive to healing.
• Adhere to all ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and respecting their rights throughout the therapeutic process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will encompass a wide range of patient populations, including those recovering from surgeries, facing neurological challenges, addressing orthopedic conditions, and the elderly requiring specialized rehabilitation interventions. You will adapt your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring effective and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist in Washington.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• Ability to assess and adapt treatment strategies based on patient progress and needs.
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant clinical setting is preferred.
• Experience with home health care or outpatient rehabilitation services is highly desirable.
