Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Phoenix Rise Counseling, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments for families, couples, and individuals to identify their unique challenges and needs.
  • Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that address various issues, such as alcohol abuse, grief, familial conflicts, and adjustment challenges related to separation and divorce.
  • Providing therapy sessions to couples, as well as individual therapy where necessary, ensuring holistic care for all family members involved.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Collaborating with our interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
  • Utilizing telehealth services effectively to engage with clients in both individual and group settings.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse range of clients, including:

  • Couples navigating relationship challenges and communication difficulties.
  • Families experiencing conflicts, blended family dynamics, and adjustment to changes such as divorce.
  • Children and adolescents dealing with issues related to grief, job stress, and familial relationships.
  • Individuals seeking support for mental health concerns like anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold the following qualifications:

  • Current and valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license issued by the state of Illinois.
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
  • Strong commitment to providing compassionate and effective therapeutic services.
Preferred Experience
