Job description

SHIPPING/RECEIVING ASSOCIATE
Monday - Friday
7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
$18.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Load, unload, stage, and transport materials using forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Verify Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, lot numbers, and shipping documentation.
  • Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Supply production with raw materials and packaging as needed.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper storage, product rotation (FIFO), and cycle counts.
  • Follow GMP, food safety, OSHA, and company safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Meet daily shipping, receiving, and productivity goals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience required; certification preferred.
  • Experience using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems.
  • Knowledge of shipping documents, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and inventory control procedures.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Dependable with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Food manufacturing or GMP experience is a plus.
