Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes.
  • Create and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborate with management to investigate and resolve safety incidents and near misses.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety performance, incidents, and corrective actions.
  • Evaluate new equipment and processes for potential safety hazards.
  • Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in workplace safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or related field.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence positive change.
  • Experience conducting safety training and developing safety programs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
