Job description

Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Linden, NJ
Role Type: Temp to Hire
Shift: Days (8 AM - 4:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, pallet jack, etc.) safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload goods from trucks and containers
  • Move materials to designated storage areas
  • Stack and organize products based on inventory procedures
  • Inspect forklifts daily and report any maintenance or safety issues
  • Follow company safety rules and OSHA guidelines
  • Use scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements:
  • Previous forklift operation experience required (certification preferred)
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety practices
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Strong attention to detail and good time management
  • Flexibility to work various shifts/overtime if needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
