Patterns Hiring is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Zanesville, Ohio.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Shift: 12 hours, nights

Unless you are a returning traveler within 9 months the only available start date is 9/21. No other date is viable.
Requirements:
- RN will work 36 hrs/weeknight shift (7p – 7:30a). RN will typically work every 3rd weekend and cover 1 holiday, but this is subject to change based on census and staffing.
- There is no on call required, but the RN may be asked to take a rare call day in times of fluctuating census/staffing.
- BLS and ACLS are both required.
- Qualified candidates will have a minimum of three (3) years cardiac step-down experience, including heart cath recovery/cardiac drips/post-op open-heart patients and other cardiac/med-surg step-down patients.
- RN will be required to float to other units in times of low volumes or coverage crisis, although this is not expected.
The RN candidate MUST have experience with the following:
Open-Heart, and Epic EMR.
"While ventilator patients are not typically admitted to this unit, the RN may be required to care for a ventilated patient in rare circumstances based on patient needs and staffing requirements. Candidates should be comfortable providing care to ventilated patients if needed."

Patterns Hiring Job ID #298534-0831. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
