Work Environment

As a remote position based out of Decatur, Georgia, you will work within a dynamic community health clinic setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and initial evaluations for new clients, establishing appropriate and effective treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, including progress notes and treatment records using mental health software.
• Implement treatment strategies that are goal-oriented, focusing on the specific challenges faced by clients, whether they are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or relational conflicts.
• Remain current with industry advancements and best practices by participating in workshops, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Holder of a Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, ideally in outpatient or clinical settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing a therapeutic caseload while ensuring high-quality care.
• Strong familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and documentation practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with specialized populations would be advantageous, especially in trauma recovery, substance abuse treatment, or couples therapy.
• Knowledge of the latest trends in mental health therapy and best practices in client engagement and treatment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is competitive, between USD 80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
