Pathway Counseling Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand and address the needs of the clients you serve, ensuring that each individual's mental health journey is tailored to their specific challenges and goals.
• Maintain open lines of communication with supervisors, direct care staff, and family members, providing updates on individual progress to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Develop and share a schedule for appointments, home visits, and observational meetings with supervisors to ensure comprehensive monitoring and ongoing support for your clients.
• Coordinate in-home visits to perform observations, conduct chart reviews, and engage in interviews that contribute valuable insights into your clients' lives.
• Ensure that all aspects of your program plans are effectively implemented, continuously evaluating their impact on client wellbeing.
• Actively participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings, sharing insights and strategies that contribute to holistic patient care.
• Document monthly and quarterly progress notes that detail client advancements and necessary adjustments to their treatment plans.
• Organize and conduct training sessions to ensure staff competency in the implementation of program plans and proper documentation procedures.
• Provide follow-up services through interviews, home visits, and direct observations, ensuring your clients receive ongoing support tailored to their evolving needs.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure that critical information is accessible to authorized individuals within the mental health community.
• Serve as a liaison between the public and the mental health community, advocating for the development and improvement of care services.
• Contribute to the development of training materials and procedures aimed at enhancing program implementation and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population that includes adults and youth facing various mental health challenges. Your experience will empower you to tailor your approach to suit the unique backgrounds and needs of each individual, fostering an environment of trust and support. You may focus on areas including family dynamics, trauma recovery, couples therapy, or substance misuse, providing a well-rounded approach to mental health care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling is required, with a preference for experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards pertaining to the mental health field.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to build rapport with a diverse clientele and work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other relevant technologies is essential for efficient documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience

• Specializations in family therapy, couples therapy, or trauma-informed care are highly preferred, providing you with the opportunity to implement targeted therapeutic interventions.
• A background in substance misuse counseling can significantly enhance your effectiveness in supporting our diverse client base.

Compensation and Benefits

• The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
