Starting Pay: $55,302-$64,110

As a Disability Program Administrator at Pathfinder, you will provide person-centered leadership and operational direction for residential and waiver services in the Wabash area. This is an opportunity to lead teams, develop future leaders, strengthen quality services, and ensure the people we support receive services that promote independence, inclusion, and meaningful lives.

As a Disability Program Administrator at Pathfinder, You Will:

Lead People & Build Strong Teams

• Provide leadership and supervision to Group Home Managers, Supported Living Managers, and QIDPs.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with employees, colleagues, people supported, families, and guardians.
• Coach, mentor, and support direct reports in developing the skills needed to succeed in their roles.
• Model strong leadership, ethical decision-making, accountability, and professionalism.
• Encourage collaboration, creativity, and shared decision-making across teams.
• Promote a positive culture that reflects Pathfinder's mission and values.

Champion Person-Centered Supports

• Model and encourage the use of person-centered thinking skills and tools.
• Incorporate person-centered practices into conversations, meetings, and daily operations.
• Encourage people supported and team members to participate in decisions that matter to them.
• Promote quality supports while encouraging creativity and innovation in how services are delivered.
• Maintain regular communication with people supported, employees, families, and guardians, as appropriate.

Drive Program Strategy & Operations

• Partner with division leadership to develop strategies, goals, and action plans for Residential Supports.
• Help evaluate progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Promote the efficient and responsible use of human, financial, and program resources.
• Explore opportunities to expand existing services or develop new supports based on community and organizational needs.
• Maintain a working knowledge of other Pathfinder programs and divisions to strengthen collaboration across the organization.
• Oversee designated funding for Wabash County programs, including applicable community-specific funds, grants, and council funding.

Ensure Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, funding requirements, and program expectations.
• Participate in developing and regularly updating program-specific policies and procedures.
• Support internal and external audits by providing timely access to documentation and responding to requests for information.
• Address audit findings and recommendations by developing corrective action plans and improving related processes.
• Help ensure operations and services remain aligned with Pathfinder's mission, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote continuous improvement and encourage teams to identify opportunities to strengthen services and operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in positions with increasing responsibility in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities. 
• Minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory or management position.
• Proven team management skills and the desire to develop direct reports. 
• Ability to interpret or learn to interpret financials.
• Positive attitude and team player who welcomes collaborative decision making. 
• Ability to work a flexible schedule if needed.
• Crisis prevention, intervention, and teaching skills.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance required.
• Ability to speak, hear, and read the English language.
