As a Mechanical Service Technician, you will have the capability to undertake tasks related to mechanical systems in our company. The position includes installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment, plumbing, and other similar systems in the buildings we service. Because this job comes with high risks, you will need to be responsible and pay great attention to safety precautions. Our ideal candidate will be experienced in different mechanical devices and systems and can inspect, diagnose, and fix malfunctions in all of them.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and troubleshoot commercial/industrial HVAC systems
• Diagnose, repair and calibrate a wide variety of equipment
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and replacing filters
• Start up of HVAC equipment
• Knowledge of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating
• EPA certification required
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Good Electrical and Mechanical Diagnostic Skills
• Ability to complete repairs and required paperwork
• Ability to work independently
• Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks within time constraints
• Driven to succeed and able to work with minimum supervision
• Pay based on experience
• Be willing to be part of an on call rotation for after hours and weekend calls
• Maintain stock, parts, tools and safety equipment in the vehicle
• Participate in company-provided training opportunities
• Identify and develop potential opportunities for additional business
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
• Maintain and enter receipts and expenses used or incurred during job tasks and/or services performed
