Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations of clients to develop tailored treatment plans addressing their specific needs and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
  • Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure integrated and holistic treatment for clients.
  • Develop and maintain detailed clinical records that comply with ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and staying current with the latest research in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The counselor will primarily work with adult clients from diverse backgrounds experiencing a range of mental health struggles, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. A focus on cultural competence and sensitivity is essential to effectively assist clients in overcoming challenges unique to their circumstances. Your role will greatly contribute to empowering each individual, guiding them to find their path towards emotional and psychological well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct experience providing therapeutic counseling services, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.
  • Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations relevant to counseling practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and establish therapeutic rapport.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and teletherapy platforms.
Preferred Experience

Specialization in trauma-informed care, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling will be viewed favorably. Compensation and Benefits

Renewed Path Counseling offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with caseload and experience. Our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as malpractice insurance coverage. Moreover, counselors will benefit from unlimited client referrals, and all billing and administrative tasks will be managed for you, allowing you to focus on client care.
