Position Overview

Renewed Path Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic clinical team in a full-time remote capacity. Work Environment

This position allows for both remote work flexibility and the option of utilizing our freshly designed outpatient office located in Joliet, Illinois. You will be fully supported by administrative staff, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Renewed Path Counseling, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments for couples and families, understanding the unique dynamics within each family unit.
• Providing evidence-based therapy for couples, families, and individuals dealing with a wide array of issues, including but not limited to trauma, grief, relationship conflicts, and mental health challenges.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s goals and circumstances.
• Facilitating therapy sessions that may involve working with individuals both separately and together as a family unit.
• Utilizing telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions, as well as in-person therapy where appropriate, ensuring clear communication and support throughout the therapeutic process.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational guidelines.
• Actively working with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic treatment approaches and resources for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population encompasses a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families, including but not limited to:

• Couples experiencing relationship difficulties, conflicts, and communication issues.
• Families navigating challenges such as blended structures, separation, and interpersonal conflicts.
• Individuals seeking therapy for grief, trauma, job stress, and mental health conditions.
• Children and adolescents facing behavioral or emotional difficulties, allowing for a comprehensive approach to family health.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following qualifications:

• A valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Illinois.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Strong passion for patient care and commitment to ethical clinical practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences would be advantageous:

• Previous experience working in outpatient settings with a variety of patient populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth technology and practices.
• Experience in managing therapy for family dynamics, including blended families and child/adolescent mental health.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

Renewed Path Counseling offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 – $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Our benefits package is designed to encourage the health and happiness of our employees, and includes:
