Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status and needs, using evidence-based interview techniques.
  • Develop customized therapeutic plans that align with clinical best practices and the specific goals of each client.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to address diverse mental health issues.
  • Provide ongoing support and motivation to help clients implement coping strategies and overcome barriers to mental wellness.
  • Make appropriate referrals to other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and additional specialists, as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Engage in ongoing evaluation of treatment effectiveness and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including those dealing with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Qualifications
  • A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid state license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to practice as a mental health counselor.
  • A minimum of four years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting, with a strong understanding of various mental health disorders.
  • Proven ability to utilize evidence-based treatment approaches and maintain cultural competence in therapeutic practices.
  • Strong crisis intervention skills, with a demonstrated ability to calmly navigate challenging situations while providing excellent care.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, specifically in building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with various computer applications relevant to mental health practice.
  • A commitment to upholding professional and ethical guidelines while ensuring client confidentiality.
  • Experience collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in community health settings or additional certifications in specialized areas of mental health counseling.
  • Background in providing therapy to specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or individuals with unique cultural needs.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this Licensed Mental Health Counselor position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
