Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and mental health evaluations to identify clients' unique challenges, developing personalized treatment plans tailored to their needs.
• Provide individual therapy utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy, to promote mental health and personal development.
• Collaborate with clients to set achievable therapeutic goals, regularly reviewing and tracking their progress to ensure effectiveness and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Offer teletherapy solutions to accommodate clients who may face transportation barriers or those who prefer virtual sessions for convenience.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with ethical standards and HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities, staying abreast of the latest therapeutic trends and interventions to enhance clinical skills.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or eligibility for licensure in Texas.
• Experience working with a diverse population, demonstrating cultural competency and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Strong clinical background with experience implementing evidence-based therapy methods, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-informed care.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms to facilitate smooth remote session delivery.
• Experience in developing community outreach programs or workshops that enhance mental health awareness and accessibility would be advantageous.
