Responsibilities
Responsible for the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable activity in a timely and accurate manner.
Daily data entry of routine vendor invoices and internal check requests
Data entry of Intercompany invoices and non-routine invoices
Maintaining documentation for audit purposes
Contact with vendors/customers to resolve questions and/or expedite payment of invoices
Communicate with internal personnel to resolve questions or discrepancies related to invoices, purchase orders and other related documentation
Prepare accounts receivables, progress billings (e-mailing customer invoices to customers)
Reviews cash postings to accounts (morning/afternoon deposits and wire transfers)
Contacts customers on past due accounts, reviewing Letters of Credit, making decisions on credits to be issued and sending customer statements
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in 10 Key
Adept with Microsoft Office Products, especially Microsoft Excel
Previous Accounting Experience Preferred
Some College coursework in Finance/Accounting Preferred
