Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate and experienced Mental Health Therapists to join our dynamic team at Paragon Behavioral Health Center. These full-time positions offer the unique opportunity to provide impactful mental health services remotely, allowing for flexible engagement while continuing to benefit our community members. As a vital part of our outpatient psychiatric practice, you will play a crucial role in addressing a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately identify client needs and craft tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families, employing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups aimed at improving community mental health awareness and fostering interpersonal connections.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and holistic care for our clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
  • Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment methods, and available community resources to empower informed decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
  • Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Stay informed about advancements and evolving practices in the mental health field to enhance your therapeutic approach.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapy practice serves a diverse range of individuals from various backgrounds, focusing on those facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. You will have the opportunity to work with a clientele that includes individuals of all ages, providing you with a rich and varied experience in mental health therapy. Your role will significantly contribute to the players’ understanding and management of their conditions, fostering resilience and facilitating healing.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated expertise in mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Proven ability to perform thorough mental health assessments and develop effective treatment strategies tailored to individuals’ needs.
  • Experience providing individual and group therapy to diverse patient populations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an aptitude for building rapport and trust with clients.
  • Strong ethical foundation and adherence to professional boundaries in therapeutic relationships.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications to enhance productivity and documentation accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in outpatient mental health settings.
  • A record of involvement in community outreach or education related to mental health.
  • Specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care or substance abuse recovery.
