Job Description
Paper is looking for a high-impact Senior FP&A Analyst to join a lean, fast-moving Finance team. This role will be deeply embedded in the business, owning core planning processes, improving data quality, and driving actionable insights that inform decision-making across the company.
You'll play a key role in building a scalable FP&A function - from forecasting and scenario planning to KPI development and GTM analytics. This is a hands-on role for someone who combines strong modeling with sound business judgment and ownership.
Preference for candidates based in the Eastern Time zone or those able to work Eastern Time hours.
Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the corporate operating model, ensuring alignment across bookings, revenue, and cash flow
  • Own the company's cash flow forecast and liquidity planning, with clear visibility into drivers and risks
  • Lead the rolling forecast process, including monthly BvA analysis and clear articulation of drivers, risks, and opportunities
  • Build and maintain scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making (e.g., growth, hiring, pricing, cost structure)
  • Partner closely with Sales and RevOps to improve pipeline visibility, forecast accuracy, and overall GTM performance
  • Translate pipeline, bookings, and customer data into actionable insights that inform forecast and operating decisions
  • Define, track, and continuously improve KPIs and dashboards across the business
  • Support monthly close in partnership with Accounting to ensure consistency between actuals and forecast inputs
  • Assist in commission modeling, plan validation, and payout accuracy
  • Leverage AI and automation to improve forecasting speed, quality, and scalability
  • Deliver high-quality ad hoc analyses to support leadership and Board-level discussions

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or similar (IB / consulting backgrounds welcome)
  • Advanced Excel skills (must-have) - able to build and maintain complex, driver-based models from scratch
  • Experience owning forecasting processes (operating model, cash flow, rolling forecast, scenario planning)
  • Strong familiarity with pipeline and bookings data, with ability to translate into actionable forecasts
  • Experience partnering with Sales and RevOps to improve forecasting rigor and data quality
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity and analysis
  • NetSuite experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in a high-growth tech environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to connect the dots across the business
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity with a bias toward action and ownership

What We're Looking For
  • Someone who takes ownership of the numbers end-to-end, not just reporting them
  • Strong business partner who can challenge assumptions and improve outcomes
  • Operator mindset: cares deeply about data quality, process, and execution
  • High accountability, low ego, willing to roll up sleeves

The annual salary range for this position is $128,000 - $152,000 USD or $110,000 - $132,000 CAD, plus equity. Please note that the final offer amount is determined by multiple factors, including geographic location as well as candidate experience, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
