Job description

We are seeking an experienced All-Source Analyst (Expert) with exceptional strategic writing and intelligence production skills to support a mission focused on foreign space capabilities and regional security issues within Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate is an accomplished intelligence professional with extensive experience producing high-quality strategic assessments, intelligence estimates, white papers, and other finished intelligence products that directly support senior Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and Combatant Command leadership.

This position requires a strong ability to transform complex intelligence from multiple sources into clear, concise, and analytically rigorous products that influence strategic planning and national security decision-making.


  • Produce strategic-level intelligence products, including intelligence assessments, white papers, executive summaries, intelligence estimates, and briefing materials for senior DoD and Intelligence Community leadership.
  • Research, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple intelligence disciplines to develop comprehensive assessments of foreign military capabilities, space activities, and emerging regional threats.
  • Evaluate adversary intentions, doctrine, capabilities, vulnerabilities, and strategic objectives to support U.S. national security priorities.
  • Apply Intelligence Community Analytic Tradecraft Standards to ensure all intelligence products are objective, accurate, well-sourced, and defensible.
  • Develop written products that support operational planning, policy development, and strategic decision-making for Combatant Commands and national-level stakeholders.
  • Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities affecting U.S. space operations and regional security interests.
  • Present analytic findings and recommendations through written products and executive-level briefings.
  • Collaborate with intelligence analysts across multiple disciplines to integrate intelligence into cohesive strategic assessments.
  • Support Mission Analysis Branch requirements through high-quality written intelligence production.
  • Gain proficiency with the Modernized Integrated Database (MIDB) as mission requirements evolve

  • 20+ years of intelligence analysis experience supporting the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or equivalent national security organizations.
  • Demonstrated expertise producing strategic intelligence products for senior leaders, including white papers, intelligence assessments, executive summaries, and other finished intelligence.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to translate complex intelligence into concise, decision-focused products.
  • Extensive experience researching, evaluating, and integrating information from multiple intelligence disciplines.
  • Thorough understanding of Intelligence Community Analytic Tradecraft Standards and structured analytic methodologies.
  • Experience supporting strategic-level planning, policy development, or mission analysis.
  • Master's degree in a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph.

Desired

  • Experience supporting space intelligence, space operations, or foreign space capability analysis.
  • Familiarity with Southeast Asia regional security issues and foreign military capabilities.
  • Experience using or supporting the Modernized Integrated Database (MIDB); experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
  • Experience supporting Combatant Commands, the Defense Intelligence Enterprise, or national-level intelligence organizations.
  • Strong executive briefing and presentation skills.
