Job description

IT Project Coordinator

Optomi, in partnership with a leading entertainment organization, is seeking an IT Project Coordinator to support a high-priority enterprise technology initiative.


What the Right Candidate Will Enjoy:

  • Supporting a high-visibility strategic technology initiative.
  • Partnering with technical, business, finance, and vendor teams across the project lifecycle.
  • Owning project coordination, financial tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
  • Working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with opportunities to improve project processes.


Experience of the Right Candidate:

  • 2+ years of project coordination experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience supporting complex IT or enterprise projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Jira, SharePoint, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
  • Experience tracking budgets, forecasts, purchase orders, invoices, and project financials.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.


Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:

  • Coordinate project plans, schedules, milestones, and cross-functional activities.
  • Track project progress, risks, issues, action items, and dependencies.
  • Prepare status reports, meeting documentation, dashboards, and executive updates.
  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, purchase orders, invoices, and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with business, technical, finance, procurement, and vendor teams to keep projects on track.
  • Maintain project documentation, governance artifacts, and support project reviews and process improvements.
